Junior Rylee Rawls notched her 400th career strikeout on Thursday in the top of the 1st against Tuscola. For the game Rawls ended up with 6 strikeouts, which gives her 405 for her career total. She enters some pretty select company as only the third pitcher in school history to surpass 400 strikeouts. Sarah Davis finished her career with 668, while Shelby Parker struck out 820 in her career.
She also picked up her 30th career win at Swain. Ironically it also moves her into 3rd place on the all time wins list, trailing only Davis (57 wins) and Parker (61 wins).
